PureVenoms was founded in 2018 by a passionate team of biochemists and herpetologists to close a critical gap in the research supply chain. We are a Berlin-based animal venom supplier dedicated to the highest pharmaceutical quality and scientific integrity.

Research institutes, universities, and pharmaceutical companies were equally challenged in procuring high-purity venoms, fully documented and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. This challenge allowed us to create something that really matters.

From modest beginnings, in which we initially supplied three German universities, the company has developed into an internationally valued and trustworthy provider. Today, we supply research institutes throughout Europe and America.

Our growth is no coincidence; it reflects our tireless commitment to quality, compliance, and excellent customer service. We are a European supplier of animal venoms that sets the highest standards.

In 2020, we received certification from the PCCA (Professional Compounding Centers of America) – a milestone that officially confirmed the quality of our pharmaceutical processes and quality control systems. This certificate proves that all of the venom batches we send are produced in accordance with the strict standards that are essential for medical and pharmaceutical research.

Acquisition of the required international permits and certifications for shipment to the US and the United Kingdom. Establishment of strategic partnerships with leading European laboratories.

2020-2012

PCCA certification and Product portfolio expanded

Achieved PCCA certification (Professional Compounding Centers of America). A significant milestone that validated our pharmaceutical standards and quality control processes. Adding toad venoms and frog venoms to our catalogue. Response to growing demand from pharmaceutical research programmes and drug development.

Logistics upgrade and further growth

Upgrade our cold chain logistics and extend the European reach to Austria and Switzerland with accelerated delivery options for maximum customer satisfaction.
